Rainn Wilson in New Portland-Set Cop Series

Backstrom

Backstrom is a new series from FOX with Rainn Wilson, well known for his Emmy-nominated role as the quirky Dwight Schrute on the American version of the television comedy The Office.

Fox is holding a special screening on Thursday, January 15th, with one of the actors from the show, Kristoffer Polaha. Special note, the setting is Portland, Oregon. According to sources, the Oregon Film incentives were exhausted by shows such as Grimm, The Librarians and the feature film Wild, so the production was shot in Vancouver, Canada but made to look like Portland, Oregon.
