SourceOregon Hits the Streets

Source Oregon

The Oregon Media Production Association (OMPA) released its 2015 SourceOregon catalog yesterday via email. The catalog lists resources for film, gaming, creative services, equipment rental, rental locations and more.

In the broadcast email, newly appointed, Interim Executive Director, Nathaniel Applefield, noted his delight to feature Jeremy Saulnier’s film “Green Room” on the cover. The film was produced by native Oregonian and OMPA Board Member, Neil Kopp—as reported earlier by PortlandFilm.com, “Green Room” was selected to screen in the 47th annual Directors’ Fortnight program at the Cannes Film Festival.

To celebrate SourceOregon’s release, the OMPA is hosting a party tonight, Friday May 1st, from 4 to 8PM at Koerner Camera Systems, located at 2323 N Williams, Portland, Oregon 97227. Last year’s event was packed with professionals that rarely venture out beyond their own productions, so if you are free, it’s an event not to miss. OMPA promises it to be an evening of “libations, conversation, and celebration of the 2015 SourceOregon publication.”

Members of OMPA can pick up a copy of the SourceOregon for FREE or non-members can pay $20, or use the online version below for FREE. RSVP for tonight’s event on Facebook.
